Deena and Louis will be getting married on Friday, July 30th in Hamden, Connecticut. This past week I had the pleasure to photograph their engagement session in Hamden at Edgerton Park. I had a blast, love this park!! I can't forget to mention Chloe their cat, she's beautiful! If I had a cat, I'd want one just like her.

Roxy loves crawling into our laundry baskets, especially when scared of the vacuum Here is one of Roxy's latest pictures, from Memorial Day. Roxy came with us to the lake. She played with several dogs and attempted to swim (I will be buying her a life vest as she doesn't swim well).

This past Tuesday, John and I took a trip up to Ithaca, New York to pick up our new family member, Roxy. Roxy is an Olde English Bulldogge puppy, born on June 3, 2009. I originally thought that I'd name her Daisy Mae Meatball, however Roxy seemed more appropriate (credit to John for the name).
Roxy is a doll, I just looove her to pieces. Not only is her Patch over her eye super cute, her eyelashes are adorable as well. Roxy has a set of white eyelashes and a set of black. She loves playing outside, especially in the tall decorative grasses (see picture below), being around people, and napping. She dislikes the vacuum cleaner and taking baths. Right now, she's napping on my lap as I type (I might need a bigger chair for my office when she gets bigger).

Recently John and I had the opportunity to watch a wonderful dog for ten days. The dog's name is Roscoe, and he's a fantastic Olde English Bulldogge. His priorities include relaxing, chewing, and being around people--ahh the life of a dog. Roscoe went to the driving range with John and I, John hit golf balls while Roscoe and I watched. He also was a hit at our 4th of July party, making lots of new friends.

As a side note, this is Eme with Tony. Eme is my Godchild and Tony is John's best friend. Eme just LOVED Tony (as you can see). This is the first time she met him too!!
John and I had such a great time watching this dog, that we decided to get our own!! We think we're going to get a girl (and name her Daisy). We picked her out, but we haven't met yet (so if we meet one that likes us better we'll go with another dog). If it's a boy, the dog's name will be Bubba.

For months now, I've wanted to take pictures of dogs, dreamed about taking pictures of dogs. I love dogs, they're such great friends, never leaving your side, always there for you. What's not to love about dogs?
