I am so excited to share with you all Lauryn Elizabeth's birth announcements. Sarah, my best friend and matron of honor at my wedding, said she wanted Emersyn to announce the baby's birth on the card.
This is what I came up with, note the front is vertical and the back is horizontal (for ordering purposes both are left in vertical format). Enjoy!
My best friend Sarah has a new addition to the family, welcome Lauryn Elizabeth! Yes, this means my Godchild Emersyn is a big sister and from what I hear, she's doing her sisterly duties to the fullest!!
Here are a few images that I took of the family. Enjoy!
Eme LOVES holding Lauryn.
Eme's three now and as cute as a button!
When I first saw Lauryn, I couldn't believe how tiny she was. I totally forgot the size of a newborn child.
One of my good friends Jodi just had her first baby, Ava, three weeks ago. Friday evening I finally had a chance to stop by and see the little munchkin. She's such a doll! Congrats Jodi!
My best friend Sarah (and her husband Barry) just had her second child on Saturday, May 9th. Lauryn Elizabeth was born at 8:21PM weighing in at 7lbs 14 ounces and 20 inches long. This makes Emersyn Grace a big sister!
I am so happy for the family and am very impressed with how at ease Sarah is with the newborn. Second time around looks much easier!
Here are a few pictures of Lauryn not even a day old (more to come later in the week). Enjoy!
Recently John and I had the opportunity to watch a wonderful dog for ten days. The dog's name is Roscoe, and he's a fantastic Olde English Bulldogge. His priorities include relaxing, chewing, and being around people--ahh the life of a dog. Roscoe went to the driving range with John and I, John hit golf balls while Roscoe and I watched. He also was a hit at our 4th of July party, making lots of new friends.
Here are a few pics of the dog from John and my 4th party. Enjoy!!
As a side note, this is Eme with Tony. Eme is my Godchild and Tony is John's best friend. Eme just LOVED Tony (as you can see). This is the first time she met him too!!
John and I had such a great time watching this dog, that we decided to get our own!! We think we're going to get a girl (and name her Daisy). We picked her out, but we haven't met yet (so if we meet one that likes us better we'll go with another dog). If it's a boy, the dog's name will be Bubba.
Here are a few pics of Daisy (taken by the breeder).
Quickest Blog ever, since I'm off to a wedding after this. I couldn't help myself, I needed to post this cute family picture of some of my favorite people.
My God Child and best friend's daughter Emersyn Grace's second birthday was May 16. This past Monday, we celebrated the big day. I've only looked at this one pic, and had to post, I think it's sooo cute!
Last night John and I had the pleasure to watch Eme, my almost two year old Godchild, for the first time ever! Sarah and Barry (and family) had a wedding to attend, and since I had the night off, I had the opportunity to play for a change.
Eme, John, and I accomplished a lot in a small amount of time; we made tons of bubbles, played with Play Doh, had some chicken nuggets, played on Eme's swingset, and watched Sarah and Barry's wedding video.
Katie and Steven were married this past Saturday, December 27, 2008--if you've been following the blog, I'm sure you all are already aware of this news.
I just finished putting together a slideshow for the newly weds. Congrats Katie and Steven!

Last night was Halloween, and I got a visit from my favorite trick or treater, Little Miss Emersyn--my best friend's daughter and my God Daughter. Eme was the cutest little butterfly I've ever seen!!
I snapped a "few" pictures while Eme was here. I had to bring in back-up for the shoot, Lobo my dog was used as a ploy to get Eme to smile in pictures--she loves dogs. Picture one, no dog and cute. Picture two, dog, very cute!
This past Tuesday evening, September 30, 2008, was a night to remember. My best friend Sarah and I one again saw New Kids on the Block live in concert at the Mohegan Sun Casino. I know that sounds silly, a night to remember....BUT I've been friends with Sarah since kindergarten, and when we were around the age of eight we saw New Kids on the Block with Tiffany in concert at Lake Compounce. Around twenty years later, here we are again at a New Kids Concert.
I love concerts, not just for the music, but also for the fans of the music. It's so much fun to be surrounded by thousands of happy people (or should I say a bunch of screaming thirty-ish year olds?). It was so much fun. I got to hear all of my favorite old songs!
I know there are a lot of people who went to this concert, I'd love to hear your stories and see your pictures too! Please feel free to share with me. My childhood next door neighbor was there and several of my brides! My friend Jennifer Bromley was also there, and she had so much fun that she wants to go back and see them again on November 8th!! I have a wedding, so I can't join you.
